Germany Pinterest users in particular are driving the trend, says Pinterest, which predicts that, in this market, "different design eras will come together: searches for the glass ball lamp—inspired by mid-century modern pieces from the 60s—will rise, along with searches for bent sofa, which saw adoption across the 80s."
Ancient Greek revival
What's old... as in, very old... is new again. Gen Z is falling for decor ranging "from Corinthian home decor to Aphrodite-inspired wallpaper," and the search terms are here to show for it: "Aphrodite aesthetic wallpaper," "Greek statue art" and "Corinthian column" are all trending now. As designer Mat Sanders points out in the trend report, "I see major Greece vibes happening in my home this year. I already have my eye on a Roman-inspired statue for my entryway. And I found a blue and white accent wallpaper that reminds me of summer in Santorini."

In 2022, people will redesign their homes with Fido and Felix at the forefront, from luxury dog rooms to 'catified' homes. Millennial, Gen X, and Boomer pet parents are driving this trend."
Some of those pet-first search terms include "catify your home," "luxury dog room," and "dog beds made from furniture." Woof!
